Founded in 1997 by legendary Belizean fly fishing guide Lincoln Westby, Blue Horizon Fly Fishing operates inside the protected waters of the South Water Caye Marine Reserve, in an area known as “Permit Alley” attracting anglers from around the world!
Blue Horizon Lodge
Enjoy a 4-night all-inclusive stay for two in a room with two full-size beds, a private bathroom, and on-demand hot water showers. Air conditioning is standard in all rooms, giving you the option of enjoying the ocean breeze or a controlled climate.
The all-inclusive experience includes three meals per day, snacks, local beer, local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ground transfers between the airstrip and marina, ground transfers to/from BZE, boat transfer to and from the island, WiFi, and Marine fees.

Fly Fishing
Enjoy 3 full days of fly fishing. Over the years, Blue Horizon guides have developed into some of the most knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and fun guides to fish within Belize. With literally thousands of permit, bonefish, and tarpon landed over the years, you can’t go wrong when you fish with Blue Horizon! Blue Horizon Lodge is located right on the flats, meaning guests are the first boats out on the water. Our guides fish the best tides no matter what time of the day – our team works smarter, not harder, to put on the most fish during the most likely tide that permit will be feeding. This is a highly-intensive fishing package and not for the traveler who wants to casually fish during their stay.
Package Redemption
Winspire Travel packages and experiences must be booked within one year of the purchase date. The actual travel date must occur within two years of the purchase date.

Included within our services, Winspire can assist with extra hotel nights, airfare, and additional guests as a full-service travel agency.
Additional Information
Reservations are subject to availability, blackout dates, and major holidays. Reservations must be booked 60 days in advance of travel. Purchases through charity fundraisers are non-refundable.
