Background

St. Anne Catholic School is an independent Roman Catholic school in Laguna Niguel, CA, serving approximately 600 to 700 students from preschool through eighth grade. Its mission is to “inspire each child to pursue their highest level of academic achievement, spiritual formation, and character development. [The] collaborative community of inspirational teachers, dedicated administrators and committed parents ensures each student is empowered to explore their God-given gifts, discover their passions, and envision their future as a positive influence on the world.”

The St. Anne fundraising team first partnered with Winspire in 2024, and after one year of success, returned to level up their efforts for their 2025 Golf Classic.

The Challenge

Before St. Anne started working with Winspire, silent auctions were already a tried-and-true revenue enhancement strategy at the school’s biggest annual fundraising event. However, the fundraising team struggled to keep participants engaged during the silent auction segment of the event, meaning they weren’t maximizing its revenue generation potential.

To solve this problem, the St. Anne team realized they needed to offer silent auction prizes that had unique appeal and were tailored to their audience’s preferences, while still minimizing upfront costs and risk in the procurement process—which is where Winspire came in.

Results

After getting advice from a Winspire Event Fundraising Specialist on what prizes might appeal to St. Anne Catholic School’s unique audience, the team selected three Winspire Experiences to feature in the silent auction at their 2025 Golf Classic. Taking advantage of the ability to sell Winspire packages to multiple silent auction winners, St. Anne earned:

  • $11,596 from the Tapas & Wines or Tacos & Margaritas: The Girls’ Night Collection Experience (sold 4)
  • $20,293 from the Grill & Flames, Barrel or Cork: The Guys’ Night Collection Experience (sold 7)
  • $15,998 from the Kentucky Derby 2026 Experience (sold 2)

In total, St. Anne Catholic School raised $47,887 from Winspire Experience sales in 2025, helping them shatter their previous silent auction revenue records!
